Reservations

Your reservation is not confirmed until a $50 deposit has been paid for each room booked. If you are reserving the entire lodge for your group, we require a $1,000 deposit. Your deposit must be received within 10 days of the time you book the required rooms. Please note that we cannot confirm your reservation without the appropriate deposit. If you are booking a group at the lodge, we must receive a rooming list no later than 14 days prior to your group’s arrival.

Check-in

Check-in is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Special arrangements must be made for early check-in or late arrival by calling the office at 1-828-669-6314 or 1-888-644-8744.

Check-out

Check-out is 10:30 a.m. the day of your departure. Should you need to stay beyond our standard check-out time, special arrangements must be made in advance with the office.

Cancellation Policy

Groups: Conference or retreat group cancellations must be made in writing or via fax no less than 60 days in advance in order to qualify for a 50% refund of the deposit fee. Cancellations made less than 60 days in advance will not be eligible for a refund. However, if you need to change your booking dates, we will apply your deposit to new reservation dates if you book within the next 12 months. All changes to the number of rooms or the number of meals served must be made at least 14 days in advance; no changes can be made after that time.

Individuals:Individual cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date. Those cancelling reservations after that time will forfeit their deposit.

Inclement Weather Policy

Should the North Carolina State Highway Patrol office deem road conditions dangerous for travel, we will work with your group to reschedule your event within the next 12 months. All deposits made will be applied to a future reservation.
