SAFETY AT WILLIAM BLACK LODGE
January 10, 2023
William Black Lodge has been safely hosting groups and individual guests since early in the pandemic.
We are following Buncombe County and North Carolina Guidelines which currently do not require persons to wear masks when in indoor spaces with other persons. However, we do request that persons who have not been vaccinated and/or are in vulnerable populations continue to wear masks when in crowded spaces where social distancing is not possible. We also request those who have symptoms and/or may have been exposed wear masks when other persons are present.
Be aware that Montreat Conference Center is maintaining protocols and policies in adherence with CDC guidelines for conference centers and camps. These may be different than those required by state and local health guidelines.
As we have done throughout the past 3 years of the pandemic, we are continuing to take precautions and adapt to conditions appropriate during this time. We request that our guests and visitors do the same during their stay in the lodge or cottage.
We are grateful that William Black Lodge has remained open and in service to its mission through this past 3 years. With your continued patronage and support we can continue to be a place of renewal, retreat, and re-creation well beyond the challenges of this pandemic.
Blessings and Peace –
